SC Works Trident Announces Upcoming Back To Work Soft Skills And Job Search Training Program
SC Works Trident today announced its upcoming Back to Work Soft Skills and Job Search Training Program, which aims to help jobseekers develop the soft skills needed to find and maintain gainful employment.
The program will begin with an orientation session at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at SC Works Charleston, located at 1930 Hanahan Road, where participants will receive an overview of the program and its many benefits. Program sessions will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday thereafter at SC Works Charleston.
The program will conclude on Thursday, Dec. 15, with a graduation ceremony and an exclusive hiring event for participants who have completed the program in full.
The Back to Work Soft Skills and Job Search Training Program focuses on helping participants develop core skills for self-sufficiency and covers topics like critical thinking, problem solving, public speaking, digital literacy, and financial management. Participants will also benefit from on-site professional services that provide assistance with resume writing, interview preparation, and navigating the job search process through SC Works Online Services.
“Here at SC Works Trident, we work hard to provide our customers with the tools needed to obtain gainful employment, and this Back to Work Soft Skills and Job Search Training Program is perhaps our most comprehensive series yet,” said Workforce Development Director Sharon Goss. “We’re pleased to welcome a new round of participants for this upcoming session, and look forward to getting started.”
